Mark Walkley

Mark is the founder of Australasian Retail Projects. He is a hands-on manager and with 30 years experience and is a recognised expert in this field. He continues to advise clients on cost, undertakes value engineering and overviews the project management and construction of multiple store rollouts for major clients. Mark is a licensed Commercial Builder and has been a member of the Master Builders Association for 10 years. He is the Immediate Past National President of the Australian Shop and Office Fitting Industry Association.

Pino Colaci, B. Eng, M. Bldg
Chief Executive Officer

Pino joined Australasian Retail Projects in 2003 with almost 12 years experience in retail project and design management, predominantly with one of Australia's largest companies specialising in the design and construction of retail and commercial interiors, where he held a senior position from 1998. Ultimately he was responsible for the overall planning, management and delivery of large retail and rollout projects for many of Australia's blue chip retail clients including Telstra, Mayne, Shell Australia, BMW Australia and ANZ Banking Group. Pino was also involved in the detailed planning of a large scale refurbishment program, encompassing major engineering and building works, for A.D.I on behalf of the NSW government. Pino brings to Australasian Retail Projects a disciplined and professional approach to retail project planning and management, with strong communication and team leadership skills.

Peter Backwell, B. EC, ACA, ACIS
Chief Financial Officer

Peter joined the business in 2007 after three years with a major residential construction business, where he played a pivotal role in improving their financial systems and processes. Prior to moving into industry Peter spent 13 years in Professional Practice - Chartered Accounting in various roles initially in Audit, then Corporate Finance and Restructuring Services in both Australia and Europe with firms including KPMG & Deloitte.

Peter is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia) and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries and Administrators (England & Wales).

Peter Greelish
Executive Director

Peter has been an integral part of the Australasian team for over 21 years. His involvement with the business and respect within the industry complimented his appointment to joint Managing Director in 1999. Peter has been actively responsible for establishing the growth of the business and the company's national infrastructure over the last 10 years in a very competitive market. He is results driven and his focus on consistently delivering high standard projects is testimony to his management style and skills. Peter has established and maintains a valuable working relationship with many of our national retailers by consistently providing a high level of service. Peter is also a licensed Commercial Builder and is a member of the Master Builders Association with 26 years experience in the Shopfitting industry.
